In addition to architectural services, we offer construction services. We utilize the design-build approach, which is a construction project delivery system in which a single entity (the Design-Build contractor) is responsible for both the design and construction of a project. This approach is different from the traditional design-bid-build method, where the owner hires an architect to design the project and then separately bids out the construction to a contractor.
In a design-build project, the Design-Build contractor takes on the responsibility of designing the project to meet the owner’s requirements and budget, as well as constructing it. This method can be more efficient and cost-effective because it allows for better communication and collaboration between the design and construction teams, leading to fewer change orders, cost overruns, and delays. It also provides a single point of contact for the owner throughout the project.
